    Letter from the President

Welcome to the home page of Gamma Phi Beta at Southern Methodist University! I have the honor of serving as the President of this wonderful organization. I hope that this site gives you a better understanding of the amazing things that are happening here at the Alpha Xi chapter.

Gamma Phi Beta came to SMU in 1929, and we have been active on campus and within the Greek community ever since. We are proud of our achievements, including consistently completing the most community service hours out of all Greek organizations, winning “Best Sorority” in the Daily Campus, and winning SMU’s Sing Song competition for the past three years in a row. However, the sisterhood within Gamma Phi is truly what sets our sorority apart. We can turn to each other in any situation and can always count on one another for fun, laughter, encouragement, and support. The friendships and bonds created here are irreplaceable and will not just last for four years, but for life.

Gamma Phi Beta has positively impacted my college experience in every way. I have met so many wonderful women, gained valuable leadership experience, and have had countless opportunities to give back to our campus and community. I am so blessed to have found a place that I can truly call home.

Enjoy learning more about us as you navigate the website, and please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
